Silverfish is a well presented arcade avoid em' up that plays very well. If you are a fan of other games of the genre you will probably enjoy this quite a lot. If you are completely new to the genre it might seem both confusing, and too hard to grasp.

Neo Nectaris could use a quickmatch style game mode as well, as right now all there are to play are various unrelated missions. You do not carry over your units from previous missions, nor is there much of a storyline.

Despite it's short nature, Tumbledrop is challenging, charming, and above all fun. Despite being a higher price than I expected for this kind of game (£1.99 as apposed to $0.99), it's worth picking up.

While Arcane Legends may feel like a small step back for the franchise in spite of it's positive and innovative elements, it's still fun and provides one of the best mobile MMORPG experiences you can find on Android or iOS.

Ms. Splosion Man explodes straight into my heart with her cute quirky style, but at the same time she is a gold-digger not afraid to go for my wallet after she has captured my heart. Please Ms. I am a married man, and I can’t afford any expensive mistresses.

A fun match four rotating block puzzler with great level design, and challenging times to beat. The massive amount of levels(456), and polished presentation makes it easy to recommend even though repetition will set in eventually. Up to that point it is great fun helping the cute monkeys out.

Up In Flames is a fun physics puzzle playing with fire that adds some new tricks to the formula. I just wished it could be a bit friendlier to kids, as putting animals on fire isn’t the nicest thing to do. Especially since they whimper in pain. I hope to see a kid option in future updates. Other than that this is a game well worth your time.

This is a full PS2/Nintendo 64 kind of game, it is the kind of games we used to pay $50 for before and we had to play it on the couch. This one is only worth $4.99 and we can play it anywhere we want. If it wasn't for the lack of online gameplay and the few flaws it has, it would be a perfect game.

We're not going to get Zelda on iOS anytime soon, so this is somewhere near being the next best thing. Just make sure to book an appointment at the barber before sitting down to the introduction. By the time it's over, you'll need it.

The touch controls could be more responsive, and the music leaves much to be desired. Other than that I was pleasantly surprised by Greedy Penguins.

The brilliant presentation, and music alone can be enough to warrant a great time for a lot of people. It is a good game, and with updates I think it will turn into a great game.

Forgetting the poorly tied together story but getting down to core gameplay, amount of levels and variation available to the player, Chicken Frenzy is a good game and worth every cent, or penny if you prefer.

Playing RayForce is a lot like taking class A drugs. Not that you load up the game and attempt to smoke your iPhone (that doesn't work, I've tried it), but the trippy, swirling graphical effects thrown at you while playing have roughly the same effect as prancing about in a sweat soaked warehouse rave, off your face on an Ecstasy pill.

Dead Rising Mobile is both a technical marvel, as it lets you roam a mall freely on your iOS device. But at the same time it suffers from a crude combat system, graphical shortcomings and glitches and a general unpolished feel.

I have had a fun and frustrating time with Isaac Newton's Gravity. Sadly the frustration has come from clunky controls more than from the challenges presented.

Granted, it's not some cheap mini-game or crappy animated comic, but it still feels more like a quickly-planned tie-in than a full standalone experience.

It's definitely a good laugh, even if the gameplay is slightly one note, and a sense of satisfaction when you finally break through enemy defenses to clobber their outhouse is guaranteed, especially on the later levels.

The brilliant presentation paired with an easy to get into, and highly engaging game mechanic makes Sortee a fun experience for a couple of hours. Once it starts to feel repetitive the shine fades, and it might feel a bit pedestrian. Like sorting your own waste before going to the recycling plant.

One of my biggest gripes is that it takes a little too long for Sonic to get up to full sprint from stationary, so you can see that the simplicity of fastfastfastfastfast makes me happy. And without meaning to be rude dear reader, who are you to judge my happiness? I'm off to enjoy some more speed with Sonic and Tails. Interpret that how you will.

A great puzzle game. It doesn't necessarily rewrite the book on puzzle games, but all in all, it's a solid package that is well worth a look if you are into the genre; especially Tetris-like puzzlers.

A fun simulation game with cool graphics, and a enjoyable vibe. Being on the easy and short side, and lacking online leaderboards hurt it quite a lot. Still it is worth getting if you have enjoyed the other titles from Kairosoft.

An action time management game with a surprising amount of depth due to the many upgrades, and inclusion of a deity using health to power the world. It might look a bit too similar to Farm Frenzy, but in my opinion it has enough own personality to be worth getting even if you are already a Farm Frenzy fan. The occasional slow responses to tapping are another concern of mine.

Ravensword Shadowlands is a game that tries to do too much for its own good. While clear effort was placed into visual effects, and creating a wide variety of environments, the elements to fill out these areas are just not present.

Polara is a fresh entry in the endless runner genre featuring a quick, and clever colour-shifting mechanic. Slow to start, but once you get to harder levels the game becomes hard to put away. At that point the lack of graphical flair doesn't matter, and I can only do one thing: keep running. And yes, die.

It's one that will pull you in with it's charm and won't let you go till your dinner's gone cold. So by all means download and install the game, but make sure you chow down before playing. Because we all know what a cold meal is good for don't we? Absolutely nothing.
