Criterion just did it again. This is one of the best driving games we've seen in the last few years. Full of content and with many hours of fun waiting for us, no matter if we're playing alone or online. It shows that probably the only way to improve an open-world title is waiting for a more powerful hardware, since Criterion can only beat itself. Definitely a must-have.

Overall, WAR is a really solid game, very well designed and bringing truly valuable new features to the genre. It still lacks some things, but also has a very long way to go for improving, evolving and growing.

We can't assure it is a turning point in the series, but it manages to make fights fun and it's no doubt an outstanding game.

A bit short for one player, but with an impressive cooperative mode which compensates for. Simply put, Sam Fisher has in Conviction its best iteration since the first entry of the series.

Empire Total War is outstanding in all its features, one of those games which are enjoyable from beginning to end. You could hardly stop playing for weeks. It is a cliche to say it, but Creative Assembly have truly surpassed themselves; Empire: Total Wars is one of those masterpieces no videogame fan should let escape.

This is undoubtedly one of the best role playing games recently made, and a must buy for PlayStation 2 users, although unfortunately it is in English.

Its innovative visuals and its daring and well-made gameplay features make it not only a great action-adventure game but also a genre refreshing title. Only certain moments which cut the pace, and some problems in the fights which can become frustrating, blur one of the masterpieces of the year.

They have known how to squeeze the most of Nintendo DS, taking advantage of its strong point to make yes, a canonical GTA, but with unique elements which give it freshness. The use of the screens shows us how to combine a classic, well known gameplay, with the unique capabilities of the Nintedo DS. And they have not forgotten what makes a GTA feel special, which just make us want more.

R-Type Dimension is the best adaptation ever made to the next-gen of a classic shoot'em up. It is a comprehensive title, full of details for both old and new players, and very fun. Its difficulty is huge, but its game options are so customizable and accessible that will please both veterans and newcomers.

This is one of the most fun and polished games in the PSP, and offers what series followers are looking for. As in many cases, its only drawback is that we have already seen this formula many times, althought not so many in a portable console.
