Despite the fact that the new Tactical Defending isn't as good as we expected it to be, FIFA 12 plays like a wonderful soccer game. The new features for the online and career mode are really good, just as the Impact Engine. This is soccer at its best.- Posted Sep 27, 2011

Dark Souls is one of the most difficult games of the year and adds a lot of crazy enemies and surroundings. The co-op could have been done better but that shouldn't stop you from engaging in this sixty hour long adventure.- Posted Oct 9, 2011

Ubisoft made a great decision in taking the Anno franchise to the future. Trading, building, doing quests, there is a ton of stuff to do. It's very interesting to see the environment play a big role and the effects of polution add a great new gameplay concept. Anno 2070 really is all about building and trading and won't be fulfilling for people that are looking to rage war.- Posted Nov 16, 2011

It seems that number seven is indeed a lucky number, because Mario Kart 7 is the best 3DS-game yet and the most succesfull Mario Kart-game in the series. Thanks to the superior additive of air gliders, which can be useful for navigating through the air, and of propellers to drive underwater, the levels are better than ever. We've got ourselves a new favourite Mario Kart!- Posted Nov 28, 2011

L.A. Noire shows us that not every sandbox game has to be about killing prostitutes. This Complete Edition for the PC shows up a bit late to the party but that doesn't make it any less fun. The interrogations are a lot of fun and you'll feel like a true Sherlock Holmes at times. It's just a shame that the replay value is very low.- Posted Dec 8, 2011

Star Wars: The Old Republic is not an innovative game, pushing forward the concept that World of Warcraft has started all those years ago. However The Old Republic has a ton of content, big open worlds and some fantastic storylines, making it a must have game for all Star Wars fans.- Posted Dec 27, 2011

Pullblox is a must have for the 3DS. The simplistic concept results in a large amount of phenomenal puzzles, easily keeping you busy for a while. After that you can go nuts in the great level-editor. It's a shame that your created levels can't be shared online, though!- Posted Jan 29, 2012

Mistwalker once again delivers an interesting and deep role-playing game that also manages to innovate the RPG-genre in some aspects. A convincing story, combined with a unique combat system and a great audiovisual presentation, makes The Last Story a must-have game for anyone who has a special place in their heart for special RPG's.- Posted Feb 10, 2012

I Am Alive is a great game and it clearly has its similarities with Assassin's Creed. But don't worry, you'll definitely get that typical survival feeling. Unlike Altair and Ezio, you are not a superhero and have you'll have to take a stamina bar into account. The combination of the AC feeling and the survival theme makes I Am Alive a great game. It's a pity that the controls aren't always as smooth.- Posted Mar 6, 2012

Gods & Kings is a very complete expansion pack. The added espionage and the new and improved religion system make this game a lot better. Civilization V has become a lot deeper with this DLC and almost all of the original problems have been fixed.- Posted Jun 18, 2012

Like a real party Forza Horizon can entertain you for hours. The game offers variation in both the singleplayer and multiplayer modes and looks fantastic. The soundtrack just completes it. Despite a few flaws the franchise took a turn that proves to be good for newcomers, but also great for the fanbase. You can't miss out on this party.- Posted Nov 20, 2012

Where other LEGO games already did really well, this game tops all of them. The story is told like it is, but with a lot of funny moments. The game looks great and the open world it offers only adds to the fun. This is truly one brick to rule them all.- Posted Nov 28, 2012

Did you think you had seen it all in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare? Get ready then for this war! Don't think Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be a revolution, it's more like an evolution if you compare this to the first Modern Warfare game. -
