A game show for the common people. First there was Jeopordy, then Who Wants to Be A Millionaire, then The Weakest Link, and now this... Not the most difficult questions, but mostly because we haven't seen the full potential of the questions. The highest anyone got was at the $6000 level I think. It has a good concept, good host, but until people realize the show wants you to win, people will continue to slam it. Expand

I love the show... except for Bob Saget. For a guy who can't make funny home videos seem funny, this guy can't make a show very exciting. Bring in Bob Barker or someone who has TRUE enthusiasm- not Saget's yelling "YOU COULD WIN A MILLION DOLLARS!" There's yelling an exciting fact and then there's genuine enthusiasm.

It is an interesting show but very sad. It really accentuates the lack of intelligence in this country by both the mob's and contestant's inability to handle the questions asked.

I looked forward to this thinking the contestants might need an iota of intelligence--unlike the loathsome "Deal or No Deal". Sadly, a cute setup is wasted. My two year old, pet monkey, and dead grandmother could all win on this "quiz" show. That's how complex the questions are. One lady gave me a real chuckle, when answering she said "My sixth grade science teacher would be proud...." Even she had this show pegged, a grade school education will get you far. Expand

This show was just like...an actual show where there are no talking animals are trying to mess kid's brain up by making them think you can get into space with a toy.

IS this game jeopardy? No, the questions are not very difficult, nor does it hold ones interest between commercials. However, it is exciting to be able to compare yourself to the 100 which is why I gave it a 6.

It was alright... ...it's just the questions need to be a lot harder... ...it's just like watching people answer too easy of questions... then just take the money... maybe make the multiple choice questions 1 out of 4 and harder, then it'll be better.

I watched the episode tonight (12.1.06) and the guy is up to 100,000. This is the first one I've seen and I'm wishing I was there. The questions so far I've gotten all right and I'm wondering why they are so easy. Not anything like Jeopardy... the questions on there are pretty difficult.

It updates "Who wants to be a Millionaire" mechanism by mating it with "Deal or No Deal" choices. Had we not already dealt with "Millionaire" this would be quite entertaining; as it is it smells like day-old food - reminiscent of something enjoyable but past any allure.

This new show is interesting, and it reminds me of Deal or No Deal in every way. The show takes one person versus one hundred other people in an attempt to answer questions correctly and win money. Each phase of the questions the one person moves up the more money he/she can win by answering correctly. But here's the trick: you only win money if people in the mob (the one hundred group) answer incorrectly, and the money is added by how many people missed it in the mob. Should the one person answer incorrectly, all the money won by him/her is split among whoever is left in the mob. It's an interesting concept, but I think if I had to pick between Deal or No Deal and 1 vs. 100 I would pick Deal or No Deal. Expand

The first time I watched it, 26 people in the mob did not know that 10 nickels equals 50 cents. The question are so easy that my dog could become a millionaire. How about a little challenge for the contestants, please?

I like the show and the amount of money is realistic that athey can win. Questions are harder to answer then "Millionaire" therefore more brains then dumb luck on Deal or no deal

Questions so easy even a monkey could answer them don't deserve a reward. Nor does this show deserve to stay on the air.

"1 vs. 100" isn't really bad. Its only serious trouble is the pacing. In an hourlong episode, I count just 14 questions.

It's by no means must-see TV, but this is one game show you don't have to be ashamed of getting sucked in to.
  3. This is not a terrible game.
