DaveBJan 11, 20092Why is this show all about torture now?

DanielLJan 12, 200910Uhh.. Why would this even get a 7? This is the best show on tv and this new season so far is awesome. I cannot wait to finish the next 2 hours of the season premier! Jack Bauer is amazing.. If you are not watching this show .. start with season one and you will get hooked. 10 out of 10.

JesseWJan 12, 20099Not as action packed as past seasons but still really awesome. You can tell that the writers and producers does not want to do like they did last year by having so much action in such little time. Mind you that this is from watching the first two episodes.

SharonAJan 12, 200910People who enjoy this show because of the twists and turns, and who just love Jack, will love the start of the new season. Love having you back Jack!!!! It's time for another thrill ride.

JoanGJan 12, 20099I loved it, not sure I believe Tony is bad yet.

DavidCJan 13, 200910Great entertainment with sufficient creativity even if it is at times a little predictable. The surprises, suspense and generally good writing outweigh any of the flaws cited by critics.

PhilPJan 13, 200910Great so far (first 4 hours). I love this show - best action show like this on TV. Prison break is good, but nothing stands up to 24

steverJan 14, 20098So far, I'll give it an 8, but it will rate higher as long as they keep up the quality, which, so far, is worthy of "24", one of my fave shows.

AntoniPJan 16, 200910Its a great start. I like to see that Tony, Jack, Bill, and Cloey are together again

ChrisCJan 16, 20097The premises in 24 get more and more preposterous every season. But at least in season seven, although you don't buy a single bit of what's going on, there's enough of a focus on interesting characters to draw you in. Not as good as the best seasons (1, 2, 5), but way better than the trainwreck of season 6.

AdrianMJan 19, 20099I think its a refreshing start to a new day, however a bit slow within the first 2 hours except for a few moments, it looks promising to actually have the potential to be the best season yet, so long as they do not repeat story lines bring in more sudden unexsected deaths etc, etc. but i still love it

billbJan 19, 20090I cannot believe how dumb this plot has gotten! It's a national securety emergency, and the fbi take steam boats to the to the site of the kiddnapping.

MartinSFeb 2, 200910Excellent start to the season, most promising start to a series I've seen in a while. Jacks back, are you ready for the ride?

KathyWMay 15, 20092My suspension of disbelief is now permanently suspended. This show was good in seasons 1 & 2, but when you start bringing characters back from the dead because you have run out of innovative ideas, it's time to hang it up--which they should have done after season 4.

CBMay 17, 20090Total dreck! They should have cancelled the show after season 5 and gone out with some dignity.

karimbMay 19, 20097Causes to lose 2 points: the end isn't surprising or mind-blowing.

SamMMay 27, 20094this was a great season, up until the last two episodes. then the huge overdose of cheese was just unreal.

DougGJun 12, 200910In my opinion, 24 is the best TV series.... ever. It is like crack for your eyes. Even after watching 3 hours of recorded episodes, I was left wanting more. Non stop action!!

Aug 23, 20118I agree with most of the fans when they say, when you have something awful like season 6 it always makes the other 24 seasons look that much better. This show is one of those shows I couldn't miss. Every week I would be sitting down the couch with my family, eating popcorn and waiting to see what Jake Bauhr would do next!
-
Sep 24, 20118Although it's a good show, I found it kind of redundant when they kept saying "there's more to this plot than we thought". What began with Tony Almeida, General Juma, and Ike Dubaku ended with Alan Wilson, Jonas Hodges, and an evil-turned-good-turned-evil Tony Almeida.

80The show's long break seems to have rejuvenated its story lines, in which intense, rapid-fire action plays out against the backdrop of a complex, methodical geopolitical chess game.
-
40The new season has a few moments, mostly involving the return from the dead of Jack's old CTU colleague Tony Almeida (Carlos Bernard), who now seems to be working for the bad guys. But all the attempts by Jack and his writers to justify every past decision often brings the action to a crawl.

100Tonally, this often feels more like a psychological thriller than an action one, which is a very good sign. 24 is thinking, not just doing, and that bodes well for the later hours when our friend has tended to jump the tracks. All in all, a terrific start.
