A scare at bedtime is a classic series of short films filled with dark irish humour throughout. The Framing device for the short comic storiesA scare at bedtime is a classic series of short films filled with dark irish humour throughout. The Framing device for the short comic stories come in the form of Podge & Rodge, two foul mouthed residents of Ballydung Manor, telling tales of urban myths and scary stories. The characters in the stories tend to have humourous names (Willie Stroker & Sheamus McAenus to name two). A highlight of mine for Season 4 is Real TV, where college students get overly paranoid about their film project, and Femme Brulee, with a living sex doll.
Filled with crude jokes, innuendo & silly anecdotes, this is a worthy watch when you want something entertaining to fill 10 minutes.
