Continuing Warner Bros. Animation’s welcome strategy of aiming its DC-derived animation at comics-loving adults as well as tykes, the writing is crisp and even above-their-heads literate.

It’s a pretty good one--a kind of reset from Cartoon Network’s last Batman production, "The Brave and the Bold."

I loved the way how they changed how every character looks like, especially Alfred. And i think this show is for the villains that were in the comic book, and didn't have a chance to be in a movie or a show, so they are giving all of them a chance to be in this show. The graphics are amazing, I loved the way how they introduced the villains, And the Action Scenes are pretty nice and i heard that there will be more combat fighting than guns and stuff. Its pretty good. Expand

Some vocal fans of Batman's animated adventuresThis show is a nice change of pace from some of the previous animated series involving Batman. Some vocal fans of Batman's animated adventures often denounce a new Batman when they realize that it isn't Batman: The Animated Series. However, considering that the Batman from BTAS essentially appeared in animation throughout the 90's and into the mid 2000's in the Justice League, it's nice to have a series that focuses some attention on different conceptions of Bruce Wayne, Alfred, and a number of lesser known Batman villains. Of course, it's not enough to simply be different. A show must also be compelling, and concerning the inclusion of some of the lesser known villains, the show does a pretty good job of taking some admittedly outlandish characters and making them seem compelling. Because of this point alone, I think Batman fans should embrace this show (or, at least give it a chance) because it is attempting to elevate the status of some villains rarely seen in animation, which if done correctly, can strengthen future animated series involving Batman. I will admit that it does take a bit of time to get comfortable with the CGI style of the show, but once you get passed that, the CGI medium allows show creators to feature some compelling action sequences that might be more difficult to pull off with other animation styles. Another important aspect of the show that I think is well done is the focus on Batman's detective abilities. Other series and video games have done the detective thing well, but it is an aspect that is often overlooked. It's nice to see it featured here. Bottom line, though, is that this show is fun to watch and it is nice to see some new players featured. Collapse

It is a Batman show with no class and no direction.

Where most recent CGI adaptations of comic book characters succeed, 'Beware the Batman' unfortunately fails miserably. The people behind the series don't understand the majesty of Batman and the dilemmas that should arise from certain conflicts, instead they focus on Action and end each episode with a fist fight that ultimately leads to no where and no character development.

I'm not even talking about the designs & animation which just happen to be the absolute worst of any incarnation of the character, I'm just basing my opinion on the poor storytelling and lack of tone in the series which is supported by mediocre writing! I appreciate the writers different take on the character and the focus on more obscure Batman villains but it has to make sense and 'Beware the Batman' does not.

It's sad because we already have our perfect example of a Batman TV Series in the form of 'Batman: The Animated Series' and to see these new writers get so many things wrong just accentuates the poor quality of this latest offering.
