The only season that ever was just natural game. No twists, not veto, just 12 'complete strangers' competing for the grand prize. This season introduces some of the greatest US player's of all time in Dr. Will, Mike Boogie and Nicole. The show was in it's primitive days and only showed viewers what "could have been" a platinum reality program for years to come.

New executive producer Arnold Shapiro has made Big Brother 2 less tedious than last summer's ... But the show still has too many blah periods in which the players simply sit around and scheme.

So many things about the CBS "Big Brother 2" series are genuine improvements over last year's version, from the set and cast to the producers and number of weekly episodes, that it's almost frightening this sequel still musters such a meager rating. Yet that's how horrid the original was. And even after these significant improvements, "Big Brother 2" is by no means worth watching. [7 Jul 2000]

What's most irritating about Big Brother 2, even more annoying than its desire to titillate, is its self-importance. These people carry on as if they were locked in a momentous event rather than just a silly game show about 12 strangers struggling to live together in a secluded house for a shot at the grand prize of $500,000.
