Following on from the success of Big Brother Uncut, in previous series and based on the British version, Tony Squires and Rebecca Wilson hosted Big Mouth on Monday nights at 10.00pm, (9.30pm up to the 23rd June show) throughout series eight of Big Brother Australia. The premise of the show is simple, the hosts introduce topics which relate to the Big Brother house at the time, these are then discussed by the panel normally constructed of housemates from previous series or semi-famous Australian tv personalities. Members of the public are also encouraged to join in with the Three Mobile Mouthpiece, through the internet and phone contact.
The latest evictee also joins the panel to discuss further their time in the house. Other ex-housemates, newspaper columnists and experts in different fields also feature, giving a often more in depth and insightful take on stories.
As the series has continued, declining ratings have led to live links with the house and a new timeslot of 10.00pm from the 30th of June and due to the main show's cancellation in 2009, it's assumed that this series has been cancelled alongside it.
