If you love cops then this is the show for you. The stories are told completely from the police department's point of view. The only criticism that I have was the decision to write Jennifer Esposito off the show. I’m aware of her claims that because of medical problems she was unable to put in the hours required of her. Yet there could have been some compromise to work around a schedule where Esposito could have still been Danny Reagan’s partner but just not featured in as many episodes.
