It is a sweet, rather sad piece that--like the songs, by Whedon and his brother Jed, which are at once mock-heroic and actually heroic, mock-moving and moving in fact--works both as parody and as a drama. It also works as comedy, from line to line and moment to moment, but it is not, really, a comedy

This is hands down the most entertaining musical ever written. The characters feel incredibly real but at the same time are genius satires. I loved every moment of this film and could watch it over and over. Full Review »

Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog isn't quite like anything else. Don't let that stop you, though, it's great! Funny, clever, entertaining, and even touching. Don't miss it. Full Review »

It's fantastic. I thought by the title it would be utterly ridiculous, but it was so much more-
I loved it as a musical, by itself. The songs
were funny and ridiculously good and heartwarming. It's a dramedy-romantic-satirical musical.
And it's so worth sitting through the 42 minutes worth.
