So dated because Jack Webb as the basset hound Sargent Joe Friday tried oh so hard to be with it. Thirty minutes of a laugh your ass of journey to the late 60's. Certain Joe Friday tenets:
A. Marajuana (reefer) leads to LSD, which makes you paint half your face blue, eat dirt, then do Heroin and then you're pushing up daisies.
B. Hippies are evil police hating long hair buffoons who don't bathe.
C. There's always room for a Sargent Joe Friday Just the Facts Come To Jesus lecture.
D. Crazy eccentric loony tunes partner Joe Gannon played by Harry Morgan comes up with crazy schticks such as quail eggs in a fishing tackle lunch box.
E. A dozen or so B thespians reprising different roles each episode. Bad teeth Virginia Greg as a loud mouth bunco pyramid scheme diva with a Southern accent.
And the music was session musicians no one ever heard of.
