This show doesn't feel even remotely played out.

Yes, boys and boys, Entourage gets better and more polished each season.
  3. Entourage is showing its age, but still offers a reliable dose of frat-boy humor and Hollywood-style hilarity. It also continues to be a show where men ride high (in more ways than one).
  4. It all feels maybe a little too familiar.

Entourage underscores how tenuous hegemonic masculinity is--and how much it depends on everyone playing his part.

With all of the main characters and supporting players involved in more and more peripheral pursuits, there is little time for the four friends to get together to shoot the breeze, meet some babes, or just have some fun.

Entourage continues to coast in the same zone of amiable purposelessness in which it's spent the last few seasons.

Every setback endured by Vince and his entourage (box-office bombs; girl trouble) is smoothed over by the arrival of six-figure paychecks and the bromantic ideal. It's pretty to look at, but stagnant all the same.
  9. This new season seems more forced than usual.

  1. Turtle matched charisma with Arie Gold in these episodes. Even this roadie can cop some ideas to rise. More of a storyline to follow this time than just testosterone. Shows alpha males in touch with feminine side Full Review »
  2. No one can act. Even at playing actors. These characters are bores and their two bit complicated lives are not worthy of another season.

KILL THIS SHOW. What used to be fun and enjoyable is now tired and trying. The writers and actors simply do not seem to care anymore. This is indulgent crap not worthy of being compared to its earlier seasons that really were funny, albeit far from groundbreaking. Full Review »
