This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Disgustingly overrated and perfectly done. While people are obsessing over ninjas dreaming to be the village's "Hokage" and some guy murdering with a book, this show displays a young teen thrown into a war before facing a tough decision that could potentially save the world. It perfectly blends the elements of Sci-fi, romance, and drama. Dominates in animation compared to any current anime I've seen. Overall, it immerses you into characters who are always changing in a universe connected to our own. Expand

i was addicted to this series when i first watched it and it probably is my favourite anime series and Renton and Eureka are my favourite on screen couple. it cuts a lot of romantic clichés and when it does resort to them it does them relatively well, the action was great, the world was imaginative and the action and story were great and well paced. couple that with great characters ,i was addicted to this series when i first watched it and it probably is my favourite anime series and Renton and Eureka are my favourite on screen couple. it cuts a lot of romantic clichés and when it does resort to them it does them relatively well, the action was great, the world was imaginative and the action and story were great and well paced. couple that with great characters , animation and soundtrack and you have 50 episodes of complete joy buy a copy of both the box sets and spend a weekend watching or watch an episode a night this is an anime classic for a very good reason Expand

Eureka Seven Its exactly what i look for in any anime. No obnoxious Moe characters. a large diversity in plot, themes, characters, environments, ethnicity, and the animation. Along with having a fan serviced character (singular) last for 26 episodes, then...get rid of it by redesigning her outfits. that's completely unheard of for any anime. Along with a soundtrack that blends nearly every genre of music, and fits perfectly well with the shows lows and highs, it blends trance, electronic, pop, orchestral, generic, rock, and the best opening song ive ever heard, at least for the first opening. also there's a school segment in the beginning of the show the lasts 4 minutes. then no school ever seen from that point, again completely unheard of in anime. And the amount of colors used in this show rivals audio-surfs colors. and a love story that doesn't shove down your throat that its a love story is just perfect. It is my firm belief, that eureka seven demonstrates what an anime should be, and doesn't have that " Im an anime, look at how cute my ace is, and how big my eyes are!" in your face style. (im looking at you clannad)

if your looking for the best anime overall. look no further, eureka seven is a blast from start to finish, and will always be a timeless classic, in my mind.
