Summary: In school, some feared this game. Others relished it. But either way you look at it, it's back, and taken to the extreme! Extreme Dodgeball is a national craze sweeping the nation where 6 teams fight it out for the title of greatest dodgeball team in the world. But what makes this dodgeball different than the other brands of dodgeball you played in school? Because it's five-on-five, professional, multiball, split-court extreme dodgeball. Some changes to the game were made from season to season, so here are all the changes made throughout the series.Season ThreeIn season 3, some changes were made to the game format, and after the off-season mayhem, 6 teams remained. The teams are:L.A. Armed Response: The champions from season 2, the guys from Armed Response have been promoted from mall security to a subdivision of the L.A.P.D, and ready to kick some more tail!Lineup: Mario Lopez (captain), David Benedetto, Kel Watrin, Tanya Fenderbosch, Mandy Sommers, Damion Ward, Sebastian SciottiCurrent record: 0-2

Current winnings: $10,000Now the rules. A match in Extreme Dodgeball is 4 6-minute quarters. For a more in-depth look at the rules, check this out.Bad news first. If you get hit by a ball, someone catches your throw, or you step on or over the center line, you're out. If a ball hits you and a teammate, you're both out. You can use a ball for defense, but if it gets knocked out of your hand by another ball, you're out. If your team hold two balls for more than 5 seconds, the ref can give you a yellow card; keep it moving. Here's the good news: if a ball hits the floor or a wall, it's dead. Head shots don't count. Every time your team catches a ball, one of your out players gets to come back in the game. There is no out-of-bounds, so feel free to walk up and down the walls. There are 7 players on a team, but only 5 can be on the court at one time. When your team gets down to one player, that Last Man Standing will have 30 seconds to try and survive. If he makes it the full 30, one more player comes back in. If a team gets wiped out completely, it will regenerate from the bench, but with only 4 players. A team gets 1 point for a kill, 1 point for a catch, and 1 bonus point for a wipeout.1st Quarter: two small balls are used.
2nd Quarter: two small balls and one big ball are used. A kill with the big ball is worth 2 points.
3rd Quarter: Teams switch sides, two small balls are used.
4th Quarter: Dead Man Walking. Each team must always have a Dead Man Walking out on the court, designated by an orange headband. If the Dead Man is killed, it's 2 points for the other team, and then the headband is passed off to someone else. Two small balls are used.After the 4th quarter, the team with the most points wins the match and $5,000. Extreme Dodgeball season 3 can be seen Tuesdays at 10:00 P.M. with reruns on Thursday at 11:00 P.M. and Sunday at 1:00 A.M. That's it. Have fun playing Extreme Dodgeball.Season TwoExtreme Dodgeball returns with bigger stakes and new players. Eight teams of forty rookie and veteran players will be competing for $25,000 in prize money. The 8 teams are as follows:Classic DivisionCertified Public Assassins: The former champions from season 1, dressed as certified public accountants (that's really what CPA stands for), these guys were the biggest nerds in their schools, but now they're here to dodge red rubber balls like they dodge the IRS.Lineup: Michael "Handsome" Costanza, Mandy "Sunshine" Sommers, Art "Artful Dodger" Spigel, Natasha Pospich, and their captain Tobias "Sniper" McKinney.Season 2 record: 7-4 (Eliminated in Semifinals)Ink, Incorporated: This team is composed of tattooed and pierced freaks. If they can withstand needles, they certainly can withstand dodgeball. Plus, they may still have some aggression in them from those needles which may work to their advantage.Lineup: Shawn "Hitman" Hauser, Kimberly Estrada, Strati "Jumpman" Hovartos, "Scary" Kari Richardson, and their captain Ben "Psycho" Toth.Season 2 record: 5-6 (Eliminated in Quarterfinals)Barbell Mafia: These guys are the kind of guys you would expect to win this whole thing. Their offensive power is unparalled, and their looks may intimidate other teams.Lineup: Tyrone Rush, Alan "Diesel" Grimes, Melissa Coates, Vanessa Altman, and their captain Jeramy "The Mountain" Freeman.Season 2 record: 3-7 (Eliminated after regular season)Armed Response: The early season favorites to win the whole thing. With these rent-a-cops' jobs of having to chase down lawbreakers and think fast 24/7, one would think that these guys would be the perfect team to win at dodgeball. Extreme Dodgeball is where 8 teams fight it out for the grand prize of $10,000. The teams are as follows:Stallion Battalion: Just because these guys are incredibly short and the entire team can be dead lifted by one member of the Barbell Mafia, doesn't mean you can immediately count them out. They're small, they're fast, and they're hard to hit.Lineup: Kenny "Dirty" Sanchez, Mark "M&M" Munoz, Christina "Shorty" Knizner, Lissette Garcia, and their captain Michael "Horse Dawg" Pipkin.Season 1 record: 1-5 (Eliminated in Quarterfinals)Curves of Steel: These gorgeous babes may distract other teams. Other teams may have trouble concentrating from looking at this team. They are also difficult targets. However, their only real offensive power is in their lone male.Lineup: Kel Watrin, Maritza Franco, Amelie McKendry, Lillith "Fair" Fields, and their captain Kimberly "The Kiminator" Estrada.Season 1 record: 3-3 (Eliminated in Quarterfinals)Silent But Deadly Mimes: Mimes are very flexible physically, and being quick on your feet is important in this game. Plus, the element of surprise could be exhibited in their inability to talk.Lineup: Lamonte Goode, Laura Hight, Jolie Bailey, Stephen Sande, and their captain Mark "Pretty Boy" Pontius.Season 1 record: 2-4 (Eliminated in Quarterfinals)Sumo Storm: These huge guys are very huge, slow, and easy to hit, unlike Stallion Batallion. However, their weight behind their throws may make up for it, although it hasn't all season.Lineup (season 1): Jon Beardsley, Crystal "Chainsaw" Cartwright, Billy Aquaviva, Dante Aligheri, mid-season sub Katasha Nelson, and their captain Americus Abesimus.Season 1 record: 0-6 (Eliminated in Quarterfinals)Certified Public Assassins: The champions from season 1, dressed as certified public accountants (that's really what CPA stands for), these guys were the biggest nerds in their schools, but now they're here to dodge red rubber balls like they dodge the IRS.Lineup: Mandy "Sunshine" Sommers, Michael "Handsome" Costanza, Steve Altes, Gretchen "Stretch" Weiss, and their captain Tobias "Sniper" McKinney.Season 1 record: 8-0Ink, Incorporated: This team is composed of tattooed and pierced freaks.
