The first series of this crime thriller tracked five pivotal but non-consecutive days in a mysterious missing person's case involving a beautiful young mother of three. When two of her children went missing, a team of investigators were determined to find out whether she had abandoned her children or if the family had been abducted. A second series in 2010 unfolds over the five most significant days of separate police investigations into an abandoned new-born and a suicide. Five Days is a BBC drama production in association with HBO. Each series was broadcast on consecutive weekdays on BBC 1.
