Grey's Anatomy is the best television show of the 21st century. The medical drama collaborates drama with romance, comedy and even a bit of medicine manages to get in the mix! The chemistry between the cast members is phenomenal especially the long-standing relationship between Ellen Pompeo's character Meredith Grey and Patrick Dempsey's character Derek Shepherd. They have a presence that makes the viewer feel warm and themselves as actors have an exceptional chemistry, personally two of my favourite actors. Also the friendship between Meredith and Sandra Oh's character Cristina is welcoming and comedic. It has a great storyline thanks to the amazing creator Shonda Rhimes. Expand

The show pulls a miraculous feat in its 9th season. It takes an event from the past season's finale, and is able to create a compelling season based off of those events. People have died, and someone's gotta pay. Acting from the central cast has never been better. The new interns are dead weight, but I don't think it will be long before they're written out. If the show remains this good, I would love to see it go on five more years. Collapse

Despite the huge potential this season has to develop a deep plot and further analyse some of the old characters, they kept everything the same: Karev sleeping with everything that walks, Yang being the arrogant cardio surgeon, Meredith's boring relationship with Derek...
The lack of suspense and any interesting development in the plot is already visible in the very first episode; with the disappointing plot of the premiere episode itself and the fact that Shonda decided to reverse the airings of the first two episodes.
The only thing I'm looking forward to are the new interns and April's comeback.
What this show needs right now is a repeat of 6th season's mass murder, lots of characters need to go.
