Easily one of the best comedies on TV right now, it would truly be a shame if this is its last season. Brad and Jane have a ridiculously cute and hilarious chemistry and Max makes me laugh every time he's on the screen. Elisha Cuthbert can be the weak link at times, but also provides great ditzy laughs as well. Highly recommended to anyone who likes the offbeat humor of shows like 30 Rock and It's Always Sunny... The actors are loose, but the writing, overseen by series creator David Caspe, is tight.

Happy Endings, cast and all, has now officially jelled. The show exists on the same cosmic (and comic) TV plain as "Scrubs," "Arrested Development" and that other late bloomer, "Cougar Town."
  3. Happy Endings has so many things going for it that the occasional weak story line or meh scene is not a big deal at all.
