This is good bunk, fun bunk, energetic bunk. Much better bunk than the last volume.

Based on the first action-packed and fun episode, it looks like Kring and crew have succeeded in pulling out of their sophomore slump.
  3. The first hour of Heroes answers enough questions and moves the story forward in such a way that a few "Huh?" moments won't matter as long as they're answered in short order and don't linger for too long.

In their certitude, the villains are more compelling than their wishy-washy heroic counterparts. The real excitement of “Villains” is its promise to expand the series’ assortment of baddies: their unabashed queerness and freakery make for more fun.
  5. Even just a half hour in, it's difficult not to wish everyone would just lighten the heck up. The graphic novel noir feel is becoming increasingly oppressive, and everyone is just so grim.

NBC sent the first hour of tonight's two-hour season premiere to critics, and it's sprinkled with some of the original fun: inventive special effects, a twist or two, some nifty gore. That doesn't stop it from being the same, familiar mess.

This show, which was once so thrilling and fun, has become full of itself, its characters spouting crazy nonsense.

I'm glad to see Heroes return to it's original form after last seasons horrible display.

I am loving season three so far. I'm a superhero uber-geek and this is what I look for in a show about "heroes". After suffering through the abomination that was season 2, season 3 is a breath of fresh air. We got rid of superfluous characters, (although I thought Adam got a raw deal), and the action has been ramped up big-time. Last season I dreaded each new episode but this time around Mondays can't come fast enough. I know there are a few annoying things as well, (too many Petrellis, some rather bizarre behaviour and bad dialogue for characters such as Claire and Peter), but I rally love the pace of season 3. I thought the first half of the third season (Villains) was the worst this show has ever offered, but that the second half (Fugitives) was one of the best. Watch the second half. Expand

There are SO many characters running around (all of them up to something that's generally mysterious) that the show is becoming really convoluted. Cut the cast in half, throw in a bit of humor, and the show will be back on track. Expand

It's desperation; I wish someone could've saved which was once such a brilliant show.

This season was very boring, I was so hooked in the first 2 seasons and got here and it just dropped off. I was very dissapointed. I quit watching it halfway throught because I couldnt do it. Expand
