  • Summary: House (aka House MD), from executive producers Paul Attanasio, Katie Jacobs, David Shore, and Bryan Singer is a new take on mystery, where the villain is a medical malady and the hero is an irreverent, controversial doctor who trusts no one, least of all his patients. Dr. Gregory House (Hugh Laurie) is devoid of bedside manner and wouldn't even talk to his patients if he could get away with it. Dealing with his own constant physical pain, he uses a cane that seems to punctuate his acerbic, brutally honest demeanor. While his behavior can border on antisocial, House is a maverick physician whose unconventional thinking and flawless instincts have afforded him a great deal of respect. An infectious disease specialist, he's a brilliant diagnostician who loves the challenges of the medical puzzles he must solve in order to save lives. Expand

Hi Be assured that the 4th season is the BEST from Dr. House but to completely appreciate you might need to see the previous season or at least the last 4 episodes. It's a drama and it has lot of fun and some times it's like a thriller. This season has it all and a superb out of your mind finale that touches you very deep. You won't have any regrets if you see this season. Have a great time! Martin Expand

  2. Snarky drug addicted doctor committing acts that should land him in prison, hurting all those who care about him. It's one of the best train wrecks on TV. Fine acting and really tight writing featuring a group of deeply flawed characters makes for some compelling TV. I just love to watch them all operate. Expand

  3. I used to enjoy House but after getting rid of most of the original cast (to have them somehow reappear) threw me. Also, Dr. House has become just so bizarre that I tire of the show easily -- more medicine would help IMHO, but I suspect I won't be watching much even in the doldrums of summer. Expand
