    It's not a perfect show--a romance blooms too early and easily between Amber and a counselor, the soundtrack is more present than it needs to be and some moments tip from poignant to overwrought. But the richness of the characters and the story make it easy to overlook the flaws.

    If you can tolerate one more word on the beaten-senseless subject of weight loss, then, and you don't mind hearing generic cliches yet again, you could conceivably become a Huge fan before the summer is over.

    I find this show poignant yet very strange. All the characters are so emotionally stilted yet the writers fail to flesh out the characters leaving the audience to figure out why. Hopefully we'll get more details as the series goes on.… Full Review »
