Feb 22, 2012Watch It's a Brad Brad World once and you realize this is truly great television in the making. This isn't reality television, it's something REAL that is actually ON television. On it's most basic level it entertains because it reveals a life so different, almost gloriously illogical, from the life a typical viewer might be having. Yet you have no doubt it is a real life, Brad's life, and that we have been graciously invited to share it with him... whether it leads to success, failure, or a mixture of both.
The richness of the industry, the colors and the glamour could easily set this show apart but you would be missing the level of detail they pack into each episode like their amazing, reduced to a miniature world, establishment shots that open many of the segments. His style, his creative spark, the execution of his work clearly mark him as a talent on the rise.
But this is not the work first of an actor, or first of an ego, or first of a person with something to prove to you. It is the genuine article. It is genuine Brad. At his work, as himself, on his journey to develop himself into the person he has always been. That's what makes his show stand out so wonderfully among television's other offerings. Such honesty, such truth about life, is rarely trapped by the camera's lens. Bravo, Brad. Bravo, Bravo.… Collapse
