  1. Jericho works when it sticks to the eerie surreality of a nuclear attack... The show, unfortunately, flops about in its first two episodes, leaning too heavily on the action-adventure stuff.
  2. If the Awful Truth of the Global Meltdown is the big carrot "Jericho" dangles before you, it is no more compelling than the question of which of the available good-looking girls Ulrich is going to get close to.
  3. It's not only about a bomb. It is one.

I long for shows which have the content and potetnial of this one. Shame then when I find it boring and annoying already. A few episodes in and I catch myself yelling at the telly for making it formulaic and treating me with contenpt to keep the viewer watching through the next advert by teasing me with that next little piece of info.......... What if Disney made a disaster show and used the typical bad lines with the cliche father estranged son dynamic and (dramatic pause......) added a mysterious african american man with the answer to everything hmmm.. I guess you would get Jericho. Shows like this is why Scifi type shows get a bad wrap. B actors and C- writing. Expand
