Whether she's dressing down an overdressed underling or trying to find a boyfriend for her ''glam, goth, grunge'' assistant Andrew, Cutrone is relentless, angry, and funny. Not hellish, just pure Kell-ish.
  2. Kell isn't Miranda, through no fault of her own. At day's end, Kell on Earth feels a little like a knockoff.
  3. Kell on Earth doesn't demystify the fashion world so much as try to pump up the mystique. It's a stretch at times, but it does explain who all those haughty people are who crowd the Breslin Bar.

Those hoping to see a focus on fashion may be disappointed, but the show has one very strong element in its favor: Surprisingly likable taskmaster/boss Kelly Cutrone, head of the PR firm People's Revolution, is the glue that holds the chintz together.

The program does a poor job of capturing exactly what distinguishes Cutrone's form of publicity, other than kissing the asses of designers and hobnobbing with Ashley Dupre.

With Kell on Earth, the producers have instead zeroed in on fashion's insipidness and cruelty.
  7. A tired, messy show that reflects its star, fashion PR and marketing maven Kelly Cutrone.
