    The formulaic story also limits what the actors can do, though Sokoloff slides nicely into the plucky reluctant heroine role.

    What we expect in exchange are a few thrills, a few jolts and some convincing destruction, none of which this cheap, embarrassing film delivers.

    There's much to be said for the major networks spicing their lineups with something more than just reality shows during the summer, but if Meteor represents the best they have to offer, Armageddon, come on down!

    Flipped the channel to NBC a little late trying to find something to watch there was Kennth Micthell standing on the porch of Richmond Ranch. Thought I was watching Jericho! Will watch just for that!… Expand

    I feel so stupid for watching this!!!! Shooting down meteors with rocket launchers off building tops???? So many ridiculous scenes!!

    I haven't seen a floater this bad since looking back in the bowl last night. A movie so bad that you had to watch just to see how low it could go. Crash and burn. I found myself rooting for the meteor.… Expand
