  • Summary: Britain's super-secret spy agency MI-9 is in trouble. All of its adult agents have been exposed. Luckily, there are a group of inner-city high school kids in training. Welcome to M.I. High. Their top secret missions are given to them by the school janitor, who is actually an ex-MI-9 agent.

When summoned by communicators disguised as pencils, the top 3 agents must find an excuse to leave class and take the hidden high-speed lift to their HQ in the school's basement.

M.I. High is produced for the BBC by the independent production company Kudos, who are responsible for the hit BBC spy drama Spooks, known in the U.S. as MI-5. MI-5 is the name of Britain's domestic Military Intelligence agency.

MI High was a fantastic show which got better after each season. Rose developed into a splendid character and the addition of Carrie and her gymnastic skills made the show even better. The plots and dialogue were interesting and the characters as well as the stories were always appealing. Series Five was when the series had finally reached its peak, but then unfortunately ended. Series Six has replaced the old cast with dull, unappealing new actors and tired, pedestrian scripts. It's such a shame that if the BBC would go through the trouble of remaking and recasting this series they could at least attempt to make it better. I lost interest in these new spies soon after I met them in the early episodes. If the BBC wants to improve or continue this series, it might be a good idea to find a way to obliterate these new characters in the last episode of series Six and start again from scratch. Either that or just abandon the whole MI High series altogether. Collapse
