Oct 6, 2012Surprising to me, "New Girl" had the strongest start of all the returning sitcoms I'm currently watching.
The characters are likable as ever, the performances are strong, the writing is very good and the 3 episodes I've seen had many funny and even hilarious moments. The really likable David Walton from the cancelled show "Bent" has guest appearances in episodes 2 and 3. It seems, we'll see more of him in the upcoming episodes. So, to all of his fans: Tune in! "New Girl" is one enjoyable, quirky and funny show that has been in gears from the get go this season. It's something I can't say about other returning shows ("The Big Bang Theory", oh dear). Nov 12, 2012So far season 2 has been even worse than the first one. It's clear to me that people only watch this show to see one actress that they obsess over; an overrated, and overall annoying actress. Yes, Zooey Deschanel is back playing the tired "cute dorky girl" character, and it's still not funny or amusing. Stay away from this train wreck.… Full Review »
