A really good, really weird show.
  2. For all those who are not confirmed “CSI” fans, this is worth a look.
  3. 70
There's something stylishly scary at work here.
  4. Give it some style points, no doubt, because there are several very cool moments. But you get the feeling that Spotnitz knows where the problems are, and he's trying to fix them.
  5. The first episode is moody and violent but not particularly frightening. The second is psychobabble nonsense without much suspense.
  6. 30
This is one decidedly unfrightening resurrection of the Night Stalker.
  7. 10
Kolchak's ridiculously precious writing is not the only thing that rings false about Night Stalker.

Love This Show. I was out of the country when the original aired, but I love this one. Each one is creepy and tangible all at the same time. And avoids the easy Slasher vein the commercials hint at. LOVE LOVE LOVE it! TV IS BACK!!! Expand

I like this show, it needs more to it though. I watched it for the first time this week and it did not really seem to finish the plot, alot I had to figure out. I think it would be good, if it has more to the story line Expand

Not only is this a halfhearted attempt at capitalizing on yet another cult classic, but it has received the most offensive CSI-style glazing-over that the networks seem to think is what constitutes good story and visuals these days: Glamour, Glitz, Perfect Hair, Stylish Clothes, Fake Top 40 Music, Anorexic Women and let's not forget Flash Scene Cuts and Grotesque Overuse of CG Recoloring. That some spritzer-sipping network fop in an Armani thinks this CSI-meets-XFILES mess is a 'homage' to Darren McGavin's cult favorite is the REAL scary subplot behind this one. Expand
