    I wasn't as enamoured by this season as the last 4, however once you adjust to the 22 year olds behaving like 35 year olds it's still quite good. Nathan & Haleys son is a little too dominant in the storyline which in my opinion is unfortunate for the series because it leaves the Lukas & Payten drama as the 'catch' after Nathan's healing has taken place. The wheelchair & recovery needed far more time & the writers needed to do a bit of studying for this one. I should know, as I have actually had to learn how to walk again and I can tell you first-hand this was done very badly in the show and wasn't even close to realistic. As was the 'comeback'. Another thing this writer has had to actually live. Different arena; basketball vs dance but still there are interesting challenges along the way that the writers could have explored that would have been wonderful to see.

    One Tree Hill is about love, relationships, what family is and what it isn't. On this, the writers remained true.    … Collapse
