With a cast as ostensibly close-knit and in-tune as these actors are, season four of Parks and Recreation illustrates just how far the series has come from its mediocre beginnings, and could very well take it to even greater, and funnier, places.

Brilliant television show. Fantastically written and acted. Severely underrated and should be watched by many more people. The storylines are intriguing and fantastic. Collapse

I am in college and I adore this show. Amy Poehler is a beautiful, comical genius who shares her comical brilliance with the incredibly talented cast of Parks and Recreation. It's an amazing show, a truly amazing show. Expand

I am HUGE fan of The Office (see my username) and I would like to dispel rumors that this is an Office wannabe. These shows are COMPLETELY different. Parks and Rec is WAYYY funnier than The Office, The Big Bang Theory (the worst comedy series ever), 30 Rock, Modern Family and any other show on TV. It has the highest quality factor and Amy Poehler is a comedy genius. Truly a brilliant show. Expand

Why is this not the highest rated comedy on TV? It is the highest quality when it comes to writing, performing and craft so it should have the highest ratings to go along with it. NBC needs to support the hell out of this because this will go down in history as one of the best. Expand

With Leslie Knope now running for office Parks and Recreation’s fourth season is arguably not quite as sharp as the previous two but thanks to its excellent cast of comedy characters it remains a very funny show indeed. Expand
