Continuing great drama. A very creative mixture of fantasy and reality. Occasionally returns to "gags" in the dialogue which work sometimes perfectly and sometimes are a little labored but overall with Friday Night Lights, the best TV out there now.

Easily one of the best shows on television. At this stage each of the actors are so comfortable in their roles and the story is so well conceived its just a joy to watch the mess they put themselves through.

This series has stayed consistently entertaining, with great drama and realistic stories, mixed with a dark and more mature sense of humor lost on many shows these days. The characters as are so well defined by this season that there is no drop in the believability and this balanced as the writing hasn't slacked due to that knowledge and given lackluster story with the expectations that these set ideas will balance it out. This season is absolutely amazing so far. I agree with whoever compared it to the Sopranos, it's just great to watch. The only show that can have me laughing hysterically one moment and on the verge of tears the next. Michael J. Fox's character is awesome so far too.

Not every show is a winner, but the acting, humor, pathos, and action (like watching Backdraft often) draw me to every show. The ensemble is just incredible with various (current and past) stars appearing in many shows.

This series is officially on fire now.
  2. Rescue Me does everything "Lost" does. It balances character, drama, comedy and suspense while relentlessly pushing a dozen story lines forward.
  3. Rescue Me races out of the gate as confidently brilliant as ever before, wildly mixing emotions along the way.
