    We know damn well it's not the same show as it was in the old days. ... I will even admit some of the shows are pretty bad this year. But when they hit one out of the ballpark, it's a thing of beauty. [3 Dec 1997]

    Seinfeld’s final season is for the most part a success with some very funny episodes such as brilliantly clever backwards episode 'TheSeinfeld’s final season is for the most part a success with some very funny episodes such as brilliantly clever backwards episode 'The Betrayal' in which the story starts at the end and works its way back to the start.

    The end of season nine is slightly disappointing however with what amounts to close to four clip shows to see the show off. Despite this Seinfeld will go down in history as a comedy of almost unique quality.
