Here we have another of those twisted, hit-and-miss, 10 o'clock-hour romps from Comedy Central that travel boldly and unapologetically over the top.

Most of the time it doesn’t trust its own premise; the mechanics at this body shop rarely do any real work, instead spending too much time on toilet humor and immigrant jokes.

I've laughed more at my own ex-mechanic, who rode a bicycle to his shop because he racked up too many DUIs.

So while you might chuckle guiltily at the sight of a Peruvian worker (Frank Merino) being strapped underneath a car to conduct an "undercarriage road test," after that, there are precious few laughs to interrupt the ride.

There's nothing clever or original in American Body Shop, a disappointing waste of time and squandering of Comedy Central's resources.

Can D gave it a10:
Its like many CC shows, you will love it or hate it. Three epiodes in and I love it.
Ian I gave it a0:
This show was trying to be a comidy? Well it failed at that.
the plague gave it a0:
Utterly terrible. One of the worst and most offensive shows I've ever seen. I really hope someone at Comedy Central gets fired for this.
jim S. gave it a10:
Refreshingly original.

The jury is still out for me on this one. It's hit or miss with a lot of the jokes (some are very funny though). Time will tell if this show will gel into something special or just be a show of one-liners and toilet humor. I'll still watch until I can't watch any more.
