Cute enough if you're 8 years old or under. [3 Nov 2006, p.71]

The show moves more like a ready-for-prime-time comedy than a kiddie toon. Think "The Simpsons" with soul.

The visual style is nothing terribly special, but the hues are rich, the writing reasonably clever and the premise a healthy cut above the often lame-o material that passes for creativity in the kiddie toon universe.

Frenetically energetic, as all good music-school cartoons should be, Class of 3000, like The Simpsons, has material for young and old alike.

Benjamin clearly did not sell out with this good-natured, inspirational cartoon.

A slight but appealing mix of old-school Saturday morning cartoons from the early 1970s along with happy hip-hop tunes.

Limited animation, uninspired character design and ho-hum writing conspire to keep this all on a rudimentary level.

lThis cartoon is not only entertaining but it gives life lessons and provokes thought. It's great how it brings together rich and poor as well as various ethnic backgrounds. My nine year old as well as my two year old love it. So do I. Kudo's Andre!
