It is very moving and very terrifying. And very respectful.

"Flight 93" is gripping from the very first scene.

"Flight 93" eschews cheap emotional flourishes or gimmickry in a tale that needs none, featuring convincing performances and a gripping pace, particularly given the preordained outcome.

"Flight 93" is gripping, edge-of-your-seat TV and a thought-provoking look at a story we all consider familiar.

The film does its best work when depicting how a beautiful sunny day turns so dark so suddenly, and how both danger and heroism arise from the most ordinary and familiar of circumstances.

A generous yet unbombastic treatment. [3 Feb 2006, p.62]

[It] has its strengths, particularly in its details of the hijackers' brutishness and the terror of the captives.

It's well done, but not revelatory. It shows how a TV movie about an incendiary subject can succeed without resorting to overstatement.

A more straightforward but less affecting profile of the horror and heroism aboard Flight 93 than was "The Flight That Fought Back."

For all the misgivings justified by its existence, the film is unquestionably well made, though it does not represent as substantive an effort as the Discovery Channel production.

A harrowing, tremendously sad thriller that's utterly unnecessary.

Sam gave it a10:
Despite its TV background, Flight 93 is more powerful than most theatrical films out now. I've never cried so hard, never been fascinated in such an enormous way, and never been so frightinengly inspired watching a movie.

Jay W gave it a10:
Different, and maybe better, than the film United 93 as it spends more time on passenger conversations with family and actions on the other planes. Suggesting that this didn't really happen (or that its just speculation) is simply an ingorant statement. There are lots of crew and family members who will confirm the conversations that are the basis of this movie. There is little doubt that these heros on Flight 93 saved lives by making the ultimate sacrifice - giving their own. This message is delivered with power and impact through this show. Highly recommended.

very,very good

Suzanne M gave it a0:
Film was based purely on speculation. No one really knows what happened!

Wes P gave it a10:
An tragedy which should be recounted over and over again. This is heart-wrenching and sad to watch. Anyone who says we don't need to be reminded over and over again is dead wrong! The reasons the U.S. was attacked still exist today. We need to be reminded that we are still not clear from danger.

Louise K gave it a10:
Respectfuly done and an absolutely powerful film. My partner and myself were reduced to tears. God bless all the family and friends of all those courageous people who tragically lost their lives on flight 93. GOD BLESS AMERICAX

Corey W gave it a10:
Flight 93 is a strong film about the darkest day in America. I disagree with the critics of films like these because they show the resolve of these American heroes. Its been said before that the field in PA is the site of the first victory in the War on Terror, and we should honor that always.
