Kimberly Elise grabs the spotlight as Gooding's illiterate single mom who, through the power of love and turning off the TV, inspires her sons to think yes, they can.

Excellent movie. I only wish I could buy this and add it to my collection of DVD's. This movie should be mandatory viewing for middle school children and above. Great job by all!!

Mr. Cuba Gooding Jr. portrays a credible role (it's what he does naturally).... We need more movies that inspire, challenge us to think, and help us come to the realization that "someone" is looking out for us ! God bless you Dr. Carson ! God bless you Mr. Gooding Jr ! God bless America !
