New York PostAdam Buckman
"Huff" is one of the best dramas on TV and easily the best one airing currently on pay cable.
The unique amalgam of a show that "Huff" has been -- a sort of sampler platter of hyperbolic though realistic, sympathetic but often self-sabotaging characters -- retains its balance and tone quite well this season.
Read Full Review >Seattle Post-IntelligencerMelanie McFarland
Against everything else available to viewers, "Huff" is premium cable-grade content without the "wows" that justify the extra expense.
Read Full Review >Wall Street JournalNancy DeWolf Smith
The language in "Huff" is still graphic and foul. What redeems it, as always, is the artful acting and occasional small scenes of quiet beauty.
Read Full Review >Chicago Sun-TimesDoug Elfman
[It is] a mess of unconvincing drama, and the acting veers from magnificent to quite poor.
The second flight of episodes shares much with year one -- showy [performances] tethered to uneven writing and a less-defined premise than those of other top pay TV dramas.
Read Full Review >San Francisco ChronicleTim Goodman
"Huff" got too heavy, and too predictable in its moroseness. Lying on the couch for more seems unnecessarily depressing.
Read Full Review >People WeeklyTom Gliatto
It feels less like Freud's fun house than an opportunity for one performer after another to launch into frenzied, vituperative speeches. [24 Apr 2006, p.39]
NewsdayDiane Werts
Despite the storylines' incessant emotional and psychological delvings, the result is an inert if not annoying muddle among unpleasantly profane people whose prospective salvation isn't worth wading toward.
Read Full Review >TV GuideMatt Roush
Huff is stubbornly inert, going all over the place tonally while going nowhere emotionally.

Best show! I have all my friends hooked on it after I bought the 1st season DVD. This show was cancelled due to not enough/the right advertising and NOT because of the content. Better than HOUSE.

Extremely entertaining.
Juan gave it a9:
Splendid.
Vic M gave it a10:
Thoroughly enjoyable, with a fantastic cast! It combines humor and tragedy with flair and wit, a commentary on life as we so often experience it. I am frustrated that there are not more episodes, but I guess like life, things come to an end.
Teresa T gave it a10:
I love this show. It is one of my favorites. Well put together.
Dana B gave it a10:
One of my favorite series - I'm bewildered by all the bad reviews. Drama is compelling and Oliver Platt makes me laugh till I cry. Blythe Danner... the whole cast, really... are impossible to take my eyes off of. Well, I imagine that critics give "America's Got Talent" good reviews - so what do you expect? Watch it and decide for yourself -it's a total joy.
Don M gave it a10:
What are these reviewers smoking? This series is unparalelled! Brilliantly scripted, UN-predictable, imaginative, bold, compelling. But the one word that describes Huff best is HEART. Sopranos is TV at it's finest and Deadwood takes it to an even higher plateau. But only Huff truly takes drama beyond all boundries which has heretofor limited this entertainment medium.
