San Francisco ChronicleTim Goodman
The Life & Times of Tim--is flat-out brilliant and easily one of the funniest newcomers to television.

The show gets under the skin, somehow, with its loose Web-clip vibe and looser philosophy of life.
Read Full Review >New York PostLinda Stasi
The Life & Times of Tim, their new, offbeat, animated series, is one that works like crazy--and no, it doesn't hurt to be crazy to love this show.

Tim's world is so consistently outlandish as to be difficult to resist, especially since Dildarian plays the whole thing with the understatement of Bob Newhart's old phone routines.

The jokes that do hit on "Life and Times of Tim" suggest that Dildarian might be onto something really good if given time to fix the slow spots.

The opening episodes are uneven but show a lot of potential.

Sophomoric and crude, The Life & Times of Tim may be a viable alternative for fans of Cartoon Network's Adult Swim.

I didn't find much of it funny, but on a kind of purely analytical level I can see how the jokes are supposed to work, and might well work on some.

The animation is primitive, and so is the straining-to-be-hip writing in this deadpan sitcom.
Read Full Review >Miami HeraldGlenn Garvin
This is sporadically funny, but Tim is too slight -- the back-to-back episodes are only 10 to 12 minutes long -- and relies way too much on the supposed shock value of cartoon characters uttering four-letter words to be consistently entertaining.
Read Full Review >Boston GlobeMatthew Gilbert
The animated comedy, which premieres on HBO tomorrow at 11 after Little Britain USA, is unnecessarily slow and slack.
Read Full Review >Chicago TribuneMaureen Ryan
The animation is rudimentary and the jokes aren’t much better.
The Life & Times of Tim isn't even as well written as that show, and it's far more amateurish and deeply, alarmingly stupid to boot.

[Anonymous] gave it a9:
Refreshing alternative to Adult Swim shows, brilliantly written comedy that makes you cringe at times due to the sheer absurdity of the situations.
Will M. gave it a10:
This is some really good stuff.
Ron P. gave it a10:
One of the best shows on TV right now. A mix between The Office and a little Family Guy.
Cameron S. gave it an8:
Might grow to be repetitive, but so far this show has my eyes watering. Love having something new to watch.
Andrew L. gave it a10:
this show introduces a new kind of humor not seen to tv in a while, and succeeds beautifully. Tim's dry humor is hilarious and although different from family guy, the simpsons, or south park, is still just as funny, or even more so. Tim is a likeable character who is extremely nice, but has horribly poor judgement; which can land him in some very bad, and hilarious, situations. 10/10
Rafi Kugler gave it a10:
Fantastic. One of the funniest things on TV. Thank you HBO.
christoph p. gave it a4:
The animation is unimaginative and lifeless. the stories were just boring.
