I wasn't too sure about this show but then i found myself running to my Tivo at the end of the day to make sure it had been recorded. I love all the celeb cameos and relating to the main character. I really hope it returns because i miss it already.
JOHN M. gave it a9:
Great and much needed comedy for ABC. Very funny -great casting especially Judy Greer and Chris Parnell. Very good. suggest they move show to any night but Monday or Thursday as CBS has Monday locked up for sitcom fans and NBC does the same on Thursdays.
Sam S. gave it an8:
Silly and funny and really brings back memories of high school. Everyone in high school was either an outcast, or felt like an outcast, or knew someone who was an outcast. The best part is that Greer keeps smiling despite anything embarassing that happens to her. (Remember the column, "Was My Face Red" from Young Miss magazine?) It's good to have a friend who is always upbeat, no matter what, especially for those of us who are perpetual complainers.
LOUIS P. gave it a6:
Based on the episode I watched tonight, Judy Greer is terrific in the lead but the show needs to be filled out in the laugh department and the side characters are not well defined. With the NBC Thursday night comedy line-up returning, I would like to stick-it-out but that will be impossible.
Jenny M. gave it a9:
I love this show! So funny.
Tom gave it a4:
There has got to be something seriously wrong with me. 'generally favorable reviews'? I love Greer and usually find her very funny but.....well I don't usually post negative reviews but.......sorry.
Michael L. gave it an8:
Judy Greer carries this show with style. She's adorable and very, very funny. So is the show. She's the guidance counselor at her old high school, but she's still the same geeky kid she always was. Think Ally McBeal crossed with Liz Lemon and you've got the idea. She's sweet and clumsy and gives everything her all. It's got a great cast and a strong central idea. And Greer. Greer makes it.
