  • Summary: Shrek reluctantly celebrates Christmas with his family and friends.

Shrek the Halls may not be an instant holiday classic--nothing can really compete with the Grinch, the Peanuts Christmas special or the various Rankin-Bass offerings--but it’s enjoyable enough and likely to induce at least a few giggles.
  2. 80
Shrek the Halls offers enough zany antics and nicely understated sentiment to justify its existence.
  3. This may not be as touching as "Every time a bell rings, an angel gets his wings," or "God bless us every one," and it may resonate much more with the parents than the kids, but for a Christmas special about an ogre who may have overstayed his 15 minutes, it's actually not too bad.

Awesome, and Puss in Boots is the cutest animated character I've ever seen!

It was really funny, especially the break dancing chicken and the stories. My only complaint, it should have been longer.

Our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter was upset and scared when the "mean Santa" came to get the Gingerbread cookie. Now she is saying "Santa';s going to get me like the Gingerbread". She really liked Shrek on the big screen and was anxious to see him on TV. Too bad that portrayal of Santa was in the show. Note: We did not watch the whole show. Expand
