The dialogue is smart, and the comedy is edgy, and from the six already previewed out of this 13-episode run, the characters may drive you crazy with their constant navel-gazing, but they do grow on you. [3 June 2001, p.2]

In my honest opinion, the best show ever made. Superb acting. Solid writing. Just amazing. Keith and David's relationship was/is the most beautiful and honest relationship I have ever watched on tv. And the fact that they are ****, makes it even more groundbreaking. Well Done HBO, Well done.

SEASON 1
Not for those looking for feel good stories. Not for those looking for thrills and chills. Not for those looking for plot hooks to surprise or inspire you. But if your looking for a dialogue, character driven stories to invoke some thought on our culture, then Six Feet Under is your show. This is a show that I will continue to watch and probably enjoy, but will never run to my set to see what happens next. That is Six Feet Under in a nutshell.
