  • Summary: Smallville tells the tale of a teenage Clark Kent in the days before he was Superman. It is the town where he came from where very strange things started happening with his arrival in a spaceship in the midst of a meteor storm of green rocks. Clark must deal with a variety of individuals given powers by the green rocks, keep his powers a secret, cope with his friendship with a young Lex Luthor, and balance the two girls in his life, Chloe and Lana. The show also shows us how Lex Luthor develops from a friend of Clark's and kinda-okay guy to (presumably) the villain who will plague Superman in his later years. Expand

Smallville is the best show I know. I have watched every single episode, I have scored 100% on smallville quizzes, and still every time I watch it I really enjoy the show. Season eight is a great season which introduces Superman's worst enemy, Doomsday. I thought that Doomsday was quite realistic in Smallville and what I found great is when you find out the truth about Davis and how he changes. I found the death of Jimmy Olsen the saddest moment out of all 10 seasons. And I still think that even though Jimmy wasn't a superhero he was a brave man, who is iconic in his own way Expand

This season brings the show back to life with the introduction of the adult world, Doomsday and Green Arrow/Oliver Queen. Seriously want to see a Green Arrow spin-off in Star City, and I'm fairly sure fans would follow such a series. Big-ups to Justin Hartley for winning over an audience quickly within a very well established show. We lose Jimmy Olsen this season and I cannot understand why the writers chose this. Jimmy is Superman mainstay. So down 3 points for that but up 2 points for Justin. So I give this season a 9. Expand
