  1. As Sutter proved in the intriguing and original first season, there's plenty more riveting storytelling to tap into as Sons of Anarchy boldly comes of age.

Morrow is either a dinosaur on the way out or the rock-solid leader the club needs in treacherous times. It's to the show's credit that both descriptions have a certain amount of validity, and I found myself alternately applauding Jax's newfound boldness and regretting his youthful heedlessness.

The acting is terrific (by all concerned--there's no weak link), the writing stays true to the spirit of the show and nothing feels forced. That's the mark of a winner.
  4. Now that Sutter and company have finished the long and difficult task of fixing what wasn't working, I want to know everything it has to offer--even if some of those things may give me nightmares.
  5. To say we actually like any of these characters would be stretching it. But we're drawn into their lives, and as it starts its second season, Sons of Anarchy can't be left out of any conversation about the golden age of cable drama.

Sutter, a writer and producer on "The Shield," fully understands the power of violence in getting a point across, yet the premiere's closing sequence runs a very fine line between demonstrating the neo-Nazis' brutality and a gratuitous display.

Katy Segal is a force of nature. I'm not sure what's holding people back from this show, but it's currently one of the 2 or 3 best things on TV (with Mad Men & Fringe, I'd say). If you're male and not watching this show, you're missing the boat. Expand

Season two gets rid of these problems while building tremendously on the first seasons strengths and adding some neat twists. The show now feels a lot more cohesive as all of its characters are now well developed and the relationships between them add substantially to the season's ever-twisting, but never convoluted plot line. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I'll admit, i was on the fence with season 1. Sure, it was a pretty cool show, but some bits just didn't work for me.

    Then came season 2

From the first ep, you can tell this season will be chock full with moments that will change the show, what with Gemma's rape, the ongoing rift between Jax and Clay (including their big fight in prison, yes, they go to prison) and a few murders here and there, it delivers much more than season 1 did.

If you were on the fence like me for the first season, trust me, season 2 will make you love this show in all its testosterone-filled awesomeness. And season 3 looks to be even better, as this season ends with IRA member stealing Jaxs baby boy

    Bring it on!

One of the really good edgy, well written, character driven shows on cable.

Plenty of credit for this must be given to the writers. The few minor flaws that held back the first season, particularly in its early episodes, have been well and truly put to bed as they brilliantly capture the current plight of SAMCRO. Of course good writing itself is not enough and fortunately the entire cast deliver performances to match. As a result even those characters that at first felt a little one note, such as Police Chief Unser, gradually unveil their hidden depths making for superb drama that builds throughout the thirteen episodes to a satisfying finale.

Can’t wait to see what Season 3 will bring.

The ending is so OTT, litterally think of the most un-imagiative way of making sure everything SAMCRO needs to happen, and you will get it, stupid guys who stay behind on their own without the rest of his gang just to get a tattoo!!! really!!! randomly bumping in to the girl that attacked you!!! staying back becuase you have to visit someone right then, seriously can you not wait say a week and arrange to meet in ney york or something?stupid ATF agent who go alone, seriously alone!! with a know criminal to a sting operation. It's just too perfect, how about some realism, too unbeliveable
