While the show has managed to avoid a full-out belly flop, that's still a long, long way from being a perfect 10.

This show could potentially involve Louie Anderson diving into a pool from a three story high platform. What's not to like? This is America, often our best entertainment appeals to the lowest common denominator. If you seek amusement to be found on the cheap look no further. The program will not provide higher order stimulation, as it was not designed for that purpose.

SEASON 1
This is competition for the stupidest show on TV. Not because of its concept, which is basically Dancing with the Stars on a diving board, but because of its poor execution! Similar to DWTS, is that there are few, if any, stars. The ratings were probably decent for the first episode, because it was so heavily **** the concept was interesting.......celebrities competing out of their comfort zone. Of course the most common question during the first episode was "who is that"?
The real problem with the show is that unlike DWTS, the performance or skill of the divers has little to do with the scoring or elimination process. Only two judges subjectively score the divers. Unfortunately, the score has less to do with the actual dive, and more to do with the show hype! One diver got extra points because he was so obese, another because he was so old and tall, another because she was so scared. One diver lost points becase they thought she should have done better, another because they thought they should use a higher platform......stupid. The first show came down to eliminating the worst diver, a really hot, curvacious, bikini clad beauty **** an old sitcom child actress. Guess who stayed. It may just be a coincidence (or luck), but it seems like they end up keeping the contestants that will bring back the most viewers next week! Just saying.

Ultimately, Splash is little more than an oddity, a poorly cast diversion to try keeping a percentage of the “Dancing” audience (which is already pretty geriatric, in TV-demo terms) tuned to ABC a little bit longer.
This reality show is completely stupid and bias. The judges are a joke..I watched it twice and never watch it again. sometimes reality shows should stay off the air.
