    Funny but inconsequential.
  2. For all the predictable one-liners, pratfalls and canned laughter clotting the pilot, there are some funny riffs down the line.
  3. Generic. [31 Mar 2006, p.56]
  4. Nothing about the pilot of "Teachers" is particularly eye- or ear-opening.

    "Teachers" isn't half-bad.
  6. There's little talent, and even less charisma, evident in this gaggle of guys.

The scene before the opening credits is awful enough all by itself to send you fleeing to any one of the other networks, all of which have something better to offer.

The U.S. version of "Teachers" has lost much of its grit and feels thuddingly conventional.

    A lame, uninspired faculty farce.
  10. Seriously lacking in laughs.
  11. 12
    "Teachers" is never not lame.
  12. Bad? It's a leech on your soul. Never have 22 minutes so felt like 44 minutes.
  13. 10
This sitcom isn't wacky in an amusing way. It's wacky in a way that makes you want to see it whacked.
  14. 10
You haven't seen ''Teachers" yet. But in a sense you have, on every other fifth-rate workplace sitcom ever made.

Easily the lamest new sitcom all season... [it] manages an entire half-hour without a single viable joke.

Witty and fun without trying too hard. Justin Bartha was amazing. It sure is a million times better than CBS's 'The Class'.

great comedy with nice morals!! this is definitely one of the show NBC needs to hang on to. smarten up and stop being a dumbass cancelling all the shows that you think might not do well or did not meet ur rating expectation. keep up the good work critics, dont rate a show if u havent seen more than 10minutes of it? I love ur sarcastic view of the show critics .. bunch of clones Full Review »

It takes you away from the troubles from your day, the humor was dry and probably missed by most . . . Look how long Seinfeld took to take hold. Phil Hendry is a value added especially if he does some of his characters. We need this one back. Full Review »
