I went into this show not expecting much. It came out right after the notorious buy-out of Marvel via Disney had occurred. What I got was an epic Super Hero Cartoon on par with the DCAU. It was faithful to the source Material both new and old fun for all ages and had an fantastic story. The action scenes were great, the writing was superb and it left the viewer wanting more. The voice acting is some of the best I've heard in an animated series and it was obvious great detail was in place to make sure the characters captured the essence of their comic book counterparts. Sadly the show was canceled prematurely leaving a few loose ends but I do not fault the show for it. They do manage to end it on a high note. The animation style although very different is very stylized all be it an acquired taste. This is a show that really made me realize how an animated show can employee cinematography and visuals for a more powerful effect. The show also evokes a great amount of humor reminiscent of the MCU and captures such humor perfectly. I can't recommend this show enough. If you love super heroes and marvel comics watch this show both seasons are great :) Expand

Animation: consistent, watchable, not terrible, but not great. It does deserve occasional kudos from some impressive action scenes paying homage to Marvel art (e.g. the Kirby bubbles).
Story: consistent but also not great. Faithful to the comics but poor long arc development. Seems like it's geared towards grade-schoolers. Serious college level and above fanboys will find it too

One of my favourite animation series. Try to watch every episode. Watch the first episode or else you will have trouble to understand. It explains every hero in the series of the movie with such detail and awesome that you would have wished to never stop watching. AWESOME!!!!!!!

Great show with interesting story editing. Nice to see the Marvel Universe coming to life. The cartoon look great and the characters are fun to watch. Some of the plot points present in the series are straight from the comic book. The quality of the show and the voice direction remind me of the Justice League / Justice League Unlimited tv series. The opening credit for each episode could have been better. Bottom line this is a great show and a nice introduction to the Avengers mytho while setting the tone for the upcoming 2012 movie release. While I may have dabbled in Captain Carrot and his Amazing Zoo Crew and other novelty-type comic books, I began collecting them as a kid while reading my first issue of The Avengers. I absolutely fell in love with them. Watching them slowly come to life in movie form is a repressed childhood treat for me. :) However, when Marvel launched The Avengers cartoon a decade ago, it was a joke. Bad stories, bad voice casting, just all around stupid. I'm glad to see them redeem themselves with The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Nearly every character the book ever tackled is making an appearance. It's a guilty pleasure to DVR every week in anticipation of the movie in 2012! Expand
