    The cast is heavenly in The Book of Daniel; the writing isn't.

    Despite a fine cast... in the end it works neither as comedy, satire, drama nor soap opera.

    There was something to offend everybody! The least offensive to me was the portrayal of our Lord. Yes, he was a very mild sort; yes, he did not provide magic solutions or answers and yes, he was available to talk to... Otherwise, I'm not sure I will watch it again.… Expand
