If you love a big, seriously politically incorrect, brilliantly funny show that delivers belly laughs of the "South Park" quantity, then this one's for you.

Deliberate pacing muffles the comedy's energy. Stylish animation clashes with coarse language and situations. Would arty photography help a Mel Brooks movie? Not one with a wobbly script.

Aaron McGruder's anger comes through loud and clear in this adaptation of his comicstrip into an Adult Swim animated series, but the dearth of humor reflects another awkward and disappointing transition from three-panel glory to TV series.

  1. Hilarious show, very amusing with its wit and racial stereotypes which they manage to turn into pure laughter, great jokes, and just comedy at some of its finest. Expand

I'd give this show a 0 if it weren't for the social satire. I was hoping that this show would be as funny as his comic strip it9;s based on, but the voices just ruin everything. Expand

This is one of the most dissapointing shows to ever be aired. It manages to take Aaron McGruder's creative genius for delivering snappy, funny, and socially insightful dialogue from his comic and make it a chore to watch. The characters and situations are simply too broad. It seems to miss the mark by being obvious and in general show a lack of the smart, insightful nature of the strip. What surprises me most is how quickly people have accepted it, claiming that people who have low opinions "don't get it". I assure you, there is very little to get, the show is as obvious as "Friends". Expand
