- Starring: Craig Kilborn
Forget the 24 hour biased left wing news media, the best fake news show in the world will provide you with all the news you can handle. The Daily Show is a comedic view of recent news headlines and political figures through a series of satirical monologues by Jon Stewart along with segments by "correspondents" and finally interviews with guest celebrities and political figures. Craig Kilborn (SportsCenter) was the original host until the fourth season when Jon Stewart (The Jon Stewart Show) came in to take over after Kilborn left for CBS.
The Daily Show has won multiple Emmy's and other prestigious awards such as the Peabody Award.
It airs Mondays-Thursdays at 11pm ET on Comedy Central. It re-airs the following day at 1am ET, 10am ET, 2pm ET, and 8pm ET on Comedy Central.… Expand

10By far the best news show on TV! While supposedly comedy, it is one of the most inciteful news shows. Hardly any other shows on TV take-to-task the Fox and other show's banalities and misstatements. The interviews are the best segment IMHO since Jon spends enough time to keep the guests from simply spouting talking points (for the politicians) and banalities (for the authors and others). Some people -- Elizabeth Warren -- would have been "invisible" to me, I suspect, except for her appearances on the show and the obvious attraction between she and Jon (Jon asked her to marry him in one show).
I just wish this show did not go "on vacation" so much. I think some of the other people on the show could easily host when Jon is not available!… Collapse
8A very good show. I feel that Jon Stewart provides a very interesting and unique perspective on the news. I am a communist, a radical left winger so the typical center left wing Democrat viewer of this show is well not me. I still like Jon although I am much more extreme then him because well he is very rational. He criticizes Fox News and MSNBC. He criticizes Obama and the Republicans. He is rational and a lot of his points I can agree with about how messed up the system is in America, both parties. Some of the jokes run flat but in general it is very funny, and hell even quite informative.… Expand
