Larroquette stars as a recovering alcoholic who works the night shift (yes, again) as manager at a run-down St. Louis bus depot inhabited by society's outcasts. The very dark first season performed poorly in the ratings, and the show was retooled to adopt a lighter, more conventional tone in subsequent years, when it performed slightly better before being canceled shortly after the start of season 4.
